Marc Tucker, is the guru behind School-To-Work, and also designed the Certificate of Initial Mastery (CIM). The math standards are still 2 years behind the top performing countries. You call that quality? This whole thing has nothing to do with standards and everything to do with turning these kids into community organizers.
