THE NATIONAL CHILDHOOD VACCINE INJURY ACT OF 1986 (NCVIA)
This Act created a no-fault compensation program to stabilize a vaccine market adversely affect by the increase in vaccine-related tort litigation and to facilitate compensation to claimants who found pursuing legitimate vaccine-inflicted injuries to costly and difficult. The injured party may file a compensation claim but that in no way means they will be considered, awarded or even awarded enough to take care of medical bills - while the Pharmaceutical companies still stand back and deny liability.
